We focus on the intention behind the movement, like our 'Samvit' Kalaripayattu production, which combined martial arts with live music to explore themes of inner strength. If you want to see how we blend traditional discipline with performance art, or if you are interested in booking our team for a corporate or cultural event, send a message to chat about our upcoming calendar. ### Beyond the Classroom At Stance Dance Studio, we believe dance belongs on a stage just as much as it belongs in the studio. Our performance and community events cluster showcases the result of the months of sweat and preparation our students and instructors put in. These aren't just recitals; they are experiences that bring our Jungpura Extension community together. ### Our Signature Productions - **Kalaripayattu Showcases:** Our production 'Samvit' remains one of our proudest moments. By merging Northern style Kalaripayattu with live handpan music and poetic verse, we explored themes of ego, surrender, and healing. It was a powerful opportunity for our team to demonstrate how martial arts can be a performance medium. - **Contemporary Collaborations:** We regularly collaborate with local artists and foundations, such as our performance at the India Habitat Centre (IHC) for the Raahgiri Foundation. These gigs allow our dancers to step out of the studio and experience different stages and audiences. - **Community Festivals:** From celebrating Onam with a fusion of Ballet, Odissi, and Capoeira to our World Dance Day in-studio showcases, we create events that welcome families, friends, and anyone interested in the arts. ### Why Book Us? If you are looking to book a performance for your next event, corporate gathering, or wedding, we bring that same energy we show in our public productions. We don't just provide a generic dance set; we tailor the choreography and the vibe to match your occasion. Whether it is an intimate gathering or a large-scale stage event, our team—ranging from young movers to professional artists—is ready to collaborate. ## About Stance Dance Studio I am Himani Khurana, and for me, Stance Dance Studio isn't just a business—it’s a collective of friends, teachers, and students who treat dance like a conversation. Whether we’re training for a big Kalaripayattu stage production or hosting a casual studio showcase, we focus on the joy and the 'masti' (fun) of movement. We’re always looking for new ways to share our art with the South Delhi community.
