## About Vegetarian Event Catering

### Family Legacy, Real Taste

We’ve been doing this since 1953. My grandfather started Sri Mayyia Caterers, and now I’m here carrying forward the same love for food and tradition. Over 25,000 events later, we still stick to what he taught us - don’t cut corners, keep it real, and make every occasion count.

### Vegetarian Spread, No Boredom

We’re pure veg. But, *veg alli kooda ishtu varieties madabahudu* (even veg can have so many options)! Our menus go way beyond the usual. South Indian banana leaf feast is our signature, but we also dish out North Indian, Rajasthani, and even global stuff like pasta and Thai. Want a fusion vegetarian menu? Done. You pick, we’ll cook.

### Any Event, Any Size

We’ve handled cozy family functions, massive weddings, office parties, and religious get-togethers. No matter the crowd, our food and service stay top-notch.

### Experience Matters

Presentation is big for us - nothing fancy just for show, but everything looks sharp. We set up live chaat counter catering, dosa stations, mocktails, and even fire paan. Our team’s trained, but more than that, they actually care.

### What Guests Remember

- Full South Indian meals on banana leaf
- Variety at our live food stations
- Creative fusion and global dishes
- Dessert spreads mixing old-school sweets and modern pastries

We’re not perfect, but we always try to deliver something memorable. Food is our way of celebrating with you.

## Meet your expert

[Sri Mayyia Caterers](https://mytribe.in/srimayyia_caterers)

### My story

Started by my granddad R. Krishnamayya in 1953, Sri Mayyia Caterers is family run, now with my dad Anant and me, Akash, keeping it alive in Bangalore. Food’s not just business for us, it’s our family’s heartbeat, passed down, tasted, lived. We’ve fed everyone from local families to celebs, always with warmth. Our promise? Serve food you’ll remember, like grandpa did. Simple, no fuss, just real olle veg oota.

### My work

- **Pure Vegetarian Catering**: We offer authentic vegetarian food for weddings, engagements, naming ceremonies, and all kinds of celebrations.
- **Multi-Cuisine Variety**: Veg food isn’t boring - we do South Indian, North Indian, Gujarati, Punjabi, Chinese, Mexican, Italian, you name it.
- **Live Counters & Experiences**: Mocktail bars, fire paan, Turkish ice cream, and munchies for kids - we set up live food counters for extra fun.
- **Quality & Quantity Promise**: No compromise ever. We’ve done 25,000+ events and always serve good olle veg oota, plenty and tasty.
