It demands understanding the specific phonetics and emotional cadence of each language to truly serve the composer's vision. Before I step into the studio, I spend time internalizing the lyrics to ensure the native-level diction that makes the storytelling feel authentic and grounded. Working on the music for this film with Charan Raj sir was a masterclass in subtlety. When I record, my priority is always to inhabit the character and the scene, rather than just delivering the melody. For 'Kadalanu Kaano Horatiro' and 'Olave Olave', we had to find the precise emotional sweet spot that allowed the song to travel across linguistic borders while remaining true to the original Kannada composition. My recording process is built on preparation. I always ask for the scratch track at least 48 hours in advance. This allows me to digest the melody and experiment with tonal variations before we even start the clock. In the studio, I welcome guidance from directors and composers because they know the visual context better than anyone. Whether it is a feature film track, a digital single, or a brand jingle, I treat the mic as an extension of the story.
