But in independent music, I have the freedom to play. Whether I’m layering acapella harmonies for a cover or blending my Hindustani classical training with experimental lo-fi beats—like in my track 'Saware'—these projects are my personal laboratory. It’s just me, my collaborators, and the music, exploring textures and moods without the pressure of a script. Independent projects allow me to bring a different kind of intensity to the mic. My background in Hindustani classical music isn't just a foundation; it’s a tool I use to experiment with genres. For example, in the song 'Anirikshita,' the goal was to find a specific emotional resonance that wouldn't necessarily fit a mainstream cinema track. I treat every indie project, digital single, or creative cover with the same technical rigour I bring to feature films. This includes: * **Vocal Layering & Harmony:** Whether you need a solo lead or complex acapella arrangements, I enjoy mapping out harmonies that add depth to the track. * **Genre Fusion:** If your project needs a blend of traditional Indian classical elements with modern production—think lo-fi, acoustic, or unplugged—let’s chat. I love finding where those worlds meet. * **Collaborative Process:** I don't just 'record and leave.' I prefer being involved in the creative discussion, understanding the producer's vision, and offering tonal variations that give the editor or mixer more to work with.
