When you see our students on stage, you are seeing the confidence that comes from mastering the basics—like Shruti and Laya—and the joy of performing as a community. For me, every Nrithya Sandhya is proof that with consistent, disciplined practice, anyone can find their own dance voice. At Sreejaya's School of Classical Dance, we believe the stage is the best classroom. While our HSR Layout studio is where we focus on technique, alignment, and the subtle nuances of Carnatic music and Bharatanatyam, the stage is where it all comes alive. ### Why Stage Training Matters Performing in front of an audience teaches students how to hold their grace under pressure. It is not about being perfect from day one; it is about learning the discipline of performance. Whether you are a child taking your first steps or an adult pursuing a lifelong passion, we prepare you for this journey, guiding you from the basic practice room to the final production. ### The Synergy of Music and Dance You will notice in these images our live orchestra. We train our vocalists and dancers to listen to each other. This connection—between the rhythmic pulse of the mridangam, the melody of the flute, and the dancer's movement—is exactly what we teach in our weekend studio classes and our live online sessions. Music is the breath of dance, and we ensure you understand that relationship. ### Join the Journey You do not need prior experience to start. Whether you are looking for Kalakshetra-style Bharatanatyam training or want to find your rhythm in our Carnatic vocal sessions, my door is open. We focus on the 'Guru-Shishya' tradition, ensuring every student gets personal attention, whether in our air-conditioned HSR studio or through our interactive live online batches. ## About Sreejaya’s School of Classical Dance I believe dance and music are homes we build within ourselves. At my school, I do not just teach steps; I mentor students to live their art form with the same love and discipline I have dedicated my life to.
