Opening our doors to Carnatic vocal music feels natural - it’s about helping you become a complete artist, whether you’re a dancer or just someone who loves music. ### What You’ll Learn Classes focus on two pillars: - **Sruthi (Pitch):** Finding and holding your note. This is the base for melody. - **Laya (Rhythm):** Understanding the pulse and timing that gives Carnatic music its life. I always say, *Sangeetham oru saadhana aanu* (music is a spiritual practice). It’s not just about singing songs, but about finding calm, focus, and discipline. ### Who Can Join? - **Carnatic music for beginners:** If you’re starting from scratch, I’ll guide you step-by-step. - **Carnatic music for dancers:** Dancers, strengthening your sruthi and laya will change your performance. - **Anyone seeking santhosham (joy):** If you want music in your life, you’re welcome here. ### How You Can Learn - **Online Carnatic vocal classes:** Join live, interactive sessions from home. - **Offline at HSR Layout, Bangalore:** Experience the energy of learning together in person. ### My Approach No shortcuts, no rush. It’s about *nammude musical journey* (our musical journey) and lifelong learning. I’m here to guide you patiently, whether you want to sing, dance, or just enjoy music. ## Highlights Browse through Sreejaya’s School of Classical Dance's best work. ### [Featured](https://mytribe.in/sreejayas-school-of-classical-dance/carnatic-vocal-music-classes/featured) - [Video: This is your invitation to begin a new musical journey with me. My film days with legends like Lalettan and Mammootty were lovely, but building this school with Madan was a dream. Here, students—my own daughter included—don’t just learn steps, they live Bharatanatyam. Our classrooms grew with every dancer who walked in. Anyone who wants to dance, just walk in. This is your family too. ### My work - **Classes in Bharatanatyam and Carnatic music**: We teach Bharatanatyam (Kalakshetra style) and Carnatic music for all ages, online and offline in Bangalore. - **Traditional yet personal approach**: Our focus is on bhava, raga, tala - not just perfect steps. Every student finds their own dance voice. - **Never too late to start**: Whether you’re 7 or 37, your stage is waiting. Serious learners, yes, it’s a long journey, but always possible. - **From practice to stage**: Students perform at Margam and Nrithya Sandhya, celebrating hard work and growth in Bharatanatyam stage performance training. ## More services from Sreejaya’s School of Classical Dance - [Bharatanatyam Classes](https://mytribe.in/sreejayas-school-of-classical-dance/bharatanatyam-classes) · ₹1,500-3,000 per month (estimate) ## Experts similar to Sreejaya’s School of Classical Dance on mytribe - [Carnatic Vocal Music Classes by Rhythmotion](https://mytribe.in/rhythmotionindia/carnatic-vocal-music-classes) · ₹1,000-2,200 per class (estimate) · Rhythmotion | Best Dance and Music Classes | Bangalore - [Vocal Music Classes by Arnav Amaze](https://mytribe.in/arnavamaze/vocal-music-classes) · ₹1,000-2,200 per month (8 sessions) (estimate) · ARNAV AMAZE - [Carnatic Vocal Music Classes by Samarpana](https://mytribe.in/samarpanamohiniyattam/carnatic-vocal-music-classes) · ₹900-2,200 per student per month (estimate) · Samarpana Mohiniyattam Kalari - [Bharatanatyam & Carnatic Music Classes by Natesha Nrithyalaya](https://mytribe.in/natesha-nrithyalaya/bharatanatyam-carnatic-music-classes) · ₹1,200-3,000 per student per month (estimate) · Natesha Nrithyalaya, School of Classical Dance - Bangalore - [Veena & Carnatic Music Education by Suma Sudhindra](https://mytribe.in/drsumasudhindra/veena-carnatic-music-education) · ₹2,000-5,000 per student per month (estimate) · Tarangini Arts Foundation - [Vocal Lessons by Mela Music School](https://mytribe.in/melamusicschool/vocal-lessons) · ₹500-1,500 per 1-hour session (estimate) · Mela Music School – Sahakar Nagar - [Indian Classical Music Classes by World Music Conservatory](https://mytribe.in/wmcbangalore/indian-classical-music-classes) · ₹1,000-3,500 per student per month (estimate) · World Music Conservatory - [Kalaripayattu Classes by Svadhyaya](https://mytribe.in/svadhyayalearningspace/kalaripayattu-classes) · ₹1,500-3,500 per month (group class) (estimate) · Svadhyaya - [Kathak Dance Classes by Sharat Prabhath](https://mytribe.in/sharatprabhath/kathak-dance-classes) · ₹1,200-3,000 per student per month (estimate) · Suchitra Cinema and Cultural Academy ## Book To book Sreejaya’s School of Classical Dance, message mytribe on WhatsApp: [Chat on WhatsApp](https://wa.me/916360004054?text=Hi%2C%20I'm%20looking%20for%20Carnatic%20Vocal%20Music%20Classes%20by%20Sreejaya%E2%80%99s%20School%20of%20Classical%20Dance.)
