My team sets up your balcony or terrace with nutrient-rich organic soil and a mix of seasonal saplings like tomatoes, spinach, and okra, so you are literally picking dinner just a few steps from your kitchen. We handle the heavy lifting—soil preparation, irrigation, and trellis setup—so you only get to experience the fun part of gardening without the stress of managing chemicals or pests. ### Why Your Own Harvest Matters When you grow your own food, you stop asking if your spinach has pesticides and start knowing exactly what is in your soil. It is not just about aesthetics; it is about sovereignty over what you eat. ### Our Approach to Urban Farming We do not believe in set it and forget it. We build systems that work for you, whether you are in a cozy apartment or a bungalow. - **Soil Quality:** We prepare a custom blend of cocopeat, vermicompost, and neem cake to ensure your plants have the fuel they need. - **Systematic Setup:** For balconies, we use vertical stands to save floor space. For terraces, we set up high-yield grow beds with drip irrigation so your plants stay hydrated even on busy Bangalore days. - **Variety:** We plant heirlooms, leafy greens, and even fruit trees like lemon or guava, giving you a diverse harvest year-round. ### Free Ka Gyan: Pruning for Yield Here is a trick I love sharing: when your tomato plants hit that 7-8 leaf stage, watch for those small buds between the main stem and leaves. Those are 'suckers.' Take them off. It sounds counterintuitive, but by removing them, you redirect energy into growing more fruit on the main vine rather than just wild foliage. Ready to start picking your own ingredients? Let’s turn your space into a green haven. ## About Sqft Farm I believe creating a green space shouldn't be a 16-hour grind or a stress-inducing project. My team and I show up, handle the messy soil work, and teach you exactly how to maintain your harvest so you can enjoy fresh, organic produce right at your doorstep.
