Before the plants arrive, we focus on the structural integrity, covering electrical wiring, waterproofing, and framing, to ensure your setup survives Bengaluru weather without losing its charm. Building a garden is not just about placing pots in a corner. It is a technical process that turns a bare terrace or balcony into a functional living area. When you see our work, you are seeing the result of several stages of planning and execution. ### The Structural Foundation Before we add a single leaf, we focus on the hardscape. Whether it is installing mild steel (MS) structures for pergolas or creating custom floor grates for drainage, we prioritize stability. For our terrace projects, this involves calculating load-bearing limits to ensure your rooftop can handle the weight of soil, planters, and water features safely. ### Craftsmanship and Detail We take pride in elements like our terracotta jaali work. You will notice in our photos that this is not just decorative. We align each block to allow for airflow and privacy while maintaining structural rigidity. This is modular work that requires precision, especially when we are integrating lighting fixtures directly into the screens for ambient evening glows. ### The Finishing Touches Once the framework is secure, we move to the final finishes. This is where we apply weather-resistant coatings, level the flooring for proper drainage, and conceal electrical lines for outdoor sconces. By handling this messy, construction-heavy phase ourselves, we ensure that the space is not only beautiful when finished but easy to maintain for years to come. If you have a specific space you are worried about, ask us about how we adapt these techniques for your layout. ## About Sqft Farm We started as a group of friends with muddy hands who just really loved gardens. Today, we handle everything from digging the soil to welding the final structure because we want your green space to be as sturdy as it is beautiful.
