Our 'Player of the Month' and 'Best of' awards are rooted in real performance data and genuine community recognition. Parents, coaches, and peers nominate standout moments, which then go to a public vote, ensuring every bit of brilliance—from a U8 goal to a U17 save—gets the credit it truly earns. Awards at SFL are about more than just a title. We’ve built a culture where consistent effort, tactical intelligence, and clutch performances are tracked, logged, and rewarded. ### How We Recognize Talent We categorize our recognition to ensure kids across all age groups and skill sets get a chance to shine: - **The 'Best Of' Series:** Parents and coaches nominate specific game-day moments—the 'Best Goal', the 'Best Save', and the 'Best Assist'. - **Fans' Player of the Month:** This is where our community comes in. We shortlist players based on performance stats logged via our AI-tracking systems and match reports, and then open the floor to a public vote. ### Why It Matters Our goal isn't just to hand out badges. It’s to help players understand what high-level performance looks like. When a child sees their name on a leaderboard or receives recognition for a specific tactical play, they aren't just getting praise—they're getting feedback on what works. Whether you are part of our Mumbai leagues or the Pune football program, this recognition system is part of our commitment to transparency. We track goals, clean sheets, and assists because we want our players to see their own growth curve. If you believe your child has had a standout moment on our pitches, keep an eye on our nomination windows. We want to see those game-changing moments. ## About SFL We’re SFL, and we’re obsessed with the #PlayToProgress philosophy. We see the spark in every kid who steps onto our turf, and we make it our business to turn that energy into something tangible.
