My live performances range from deep, meditative Carnatic kutcheris perfect for traditional gatherings, to high-octane fusion sets where I mix raagas with rock and jazz elements. When you book a performance, we will discuss the vibe of your event, whether it is a college fest, a corporate cultural evening, or a private celebration, and I adjust the ensemble and the tracklist to make sure the energy hits just right. My journey from the Super Singer stage to performing at venues like IIT Madras’s Saarang and the prestigious Margazhi season has taught me one big thing: music is about connection. ### What to expect at my shows * **Classic Carnatic Kutcheris:** For audiences who appreciate tradition, I bring the authentic sounds of the Margazhi season. It is all about devotion, precision, and the bhakti that makes these concerts special. * **High-Energy Fusion:** If you need to wake up the crowd at a college fest or a corporate event, my fusion band brings the noise. We combine Carnatic gamakas with electric guitar riffs, drums, and keys. It is raagas meets rock. * **Multilingual Performances:** I am comfortable singing in Kannada, Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu. If your event has a diverse crowd, I can curate a setlist that speaks to everyone. ### Logistics & Setup I am used to performing everywhere, from professional concert halls and auditorium stages to more intimate setups. Whether it is a solo vocal performance or a full band setup, I work closely with your sound engineers to ensure the audio fidelity matches the performance quality. I have performed across India and internationally, so I am comfortable traveling for your event. ### Planning your event When you reach out, tell me a bit about the audience. Is it a younger crowd looking for fusion, or a family gathering needing something more classical? I love customizing the performance to fit the mood. Let’s talk about your vision for the event. ## About Spoorthi Rao I am a student of music first, which is why I treat every stage like a classroom and a temple. Whether I am holding a mic for a film song or singing with my band at a festival, my goal is the same: to find the emotion in the notes and share it with you.
