I use my Carnatic foundation to add small details, like subtle gamakas (ornamentations) and precise pitch control, that make the track feel unique to my voice. Whether it is a professional studio session or a quick acoustic take, I focus on how the melody connects with the listener. My journey into playback singing started with training for long hours in Carnatic music, which gave me the technical discipline to handle studio sessions efficiently. When you book me for a song, you are not just getting vocals; you are getting a process that respects the composition. ### Studio Playback Singing I have recorded for major film projects like *Barroz*. In a studio environment, I understand the need for quick turnaround times and precise direction. I am comfortable switching between Kannada, Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu, ensuring the diction and emotional delivery are native to the language. My focus is on minimizing the need for heavy post-production pitch correction by delivering clean, accurate takes. ### Song Covers & Acoustic Sessions Sometimes, music is about keeping it raw and real. I enjoy working on covers of popular Hindi and Tamil tracks, stripping them down to just the melody and the lyrics. These sessions allow me to experiment with different genres, from pop fusion to slow ballads. If you are looking for a collaborator for an acoustic project or a fresh take on a trending song, I bring that same studio-level attention to detail, just with a more personal, relaxed vibe. Whether you need a full-track lead vocal or a simple social media cover, I am happy to chat about how we can make the sound work for your project. ## About Spoorthi Rao Hey, I am Spoorthi!
