We provide all the paper and pens; you just bring your curiosity and leave the self-doubt at the door. If you think poetry is only for academics, you are in for a surprise. We skip the theory and jump straight into creating. Most poetry classes focus on structure and classical techniques that often leave beginners feeling inadequate. We flip the script at Splash Movement Studio by prioritizing feeling over form. ### How the Workshop Works In our 90-minute session, you engage in sensory prompts and music-based exercises designed to bypass your inner critic. We use quick brain games to unlock your vocabulary and help you get comfortable with the blank page. ### Who Should Join If you are 14 or older and have ever thought, 'I am not creative,' this is for you. We keep our batches between 8 and 15 people, ensuring you get personal attention while still feeling the energy of a group. You do not need to bring notebooks, stationery, or a background in literature. Just show up 15 minutes early to settle into the space. ### What You Get By the end of the workshop, you will have at least six original pieces. These poems are entirely yours, free from the pressure of public performance or critique.
