Our 90-minute session uses sensory prompts and music to help you create six original poems before you leave, so you will walk out with something real that you created yourself. Most people feel like poetry is too serious or complicated, but that is exactly why we do this differently. We strip away the theory and the jargon to get you straight into the act of creating. ### How it works We use quick brain exercises, music, and sensory cues to help you bypass the mental block of staring at a blank page. You will not be sitting through a lecture; you will be actively playing with words. By the end of our 90-minute session, you will have written at least six original poems. These are yours—no copying, no pressure to be profound, just raw, honest expression. ### Who this is for If you are 14 or older and think you 'cannot write,' you are our favorite kind of student. This workshop is specifically designed for complete novices who want to de-stress and try something new. We keep our batches small, typically between 8 to 15 people, to ensure everyone gets enough attention and feels comfortable sharing in a safe, non-judgmental space. ### What to expect There is no stuffiness here. We provide all the stationery, so you just need to bring yourself. We focus on feelings and fun rather than grammar or critique. If you want a space to just let your thoughts out on paper without worrying if it is 'good' or not, you will fit right in.
