Your child will likely leave with paint on their hands, sand in their shoes, or rainbow rice in their pockets, and that is exactly the point. By keeping our batches small, we ensure every toddler gets the attention they need to safely explore new textures, practice their motor skills, and build confidence while they learn. ### Why Play is Our Priority At Speel, we focus on the developmental magic that happens when children engage in open-ended, sensory-rich activities. Our philosophy is simple: when children play, they learn. Whether we are exploring the squishy texture of homemade, taste-safe playdough or building obstacle courses to navigate tunnels and bridges, our goal is to foster curiosity and independence. ### What Happens at Speel Our Banashankari center is designed for children aged 1 to 5 years, with programs tailored to different developmental stages: * **Sensory & Messy Play:** We rotate stations using water beads, edible jelly, and dyed rice. These activities are designed to stimulate tactile perception and proprioception while letting kids be kids. * **Life Skills & Creativity:** From tie-dyeing t-shirts to making their own pizza, we teach practical skills like pouring, cutting, and cleaning up, which builds incredible focus and responsibility. * **Physical Development:** Our obstacle courses and circle-time movement games are all about letting off steam and developing gross motor skills in a safe environment. ### The Speel Difference We know that choosing the right environment for your child is a big decision. We keep our group sizes limited because we want every child to be noticed, not just another face in the crowd. Our parent-toddler sessions in the morning and our after-school clubs in the evening provide a consistent routine, helping children socialize and pick up skills naturally from their peers. We invite you to join our community, where the ups and downs of early childhood are met with patience, laughter, and a whole lot of play. ## About Speel We started Speel because we wanted a space where kids could just be kids, regardless of whether they are 14 months or 5 years old. Our team focuses on a 'learning by doing' approach, so if there is glue, glitter, or homemade play-dough involved, you know we are having a productive day.
