Here is how we turn everyday items—from safety pins to cardboard—into something beautiful in my craft and upcycling workshops. ## Photos and videos - [Video: For International Yoga Day, I created this stop motion video showing different yoga poses. In my sessions, we focus on composition and seeing the potential in waste materials, not just the technique. If you join a batch, just have your basic stationery ready, and I will handle the creative direction. I have always believed that art is everywhere. Whether it is using safety pins to map out a yoga pose or turning scrap cardboard into festival masks, the goal of my upcycling workshops is to change how you see the world around you. We do not just make crafts; we learn how to deconstruct materials and give them a new life. During my sessions—whether online via Google Meet or in-person across Guwahati and broader Assam—we focus on hands-on creation. You will learn: - How to source and prepare waste materials for art. - Techniques for combining texture and form using everyday objects. - Design principles that make an installation piece look professional. My workshops are for everyone, from absolute beginners to those who have been painting for years. You do not need to be an expert. You just need a bit of curiosity. If you are joining my virtual batches, I provide reference images beforehand so we can dive straight into the fun. For those in Assam, we often work in community halls, which gives us space to get a bit messy and creative together. If you are interested in a specific medium or want to host a private workshop for a school or community group, reach out. Let’s see what we can build. ## About Rabin Bar I am Rabin, and I truly believe that art is hidden in the things we usually throw away. Whether we are in my Guwahati studio or connecting online, my goal is to help you see the magic in everyday materials like scrap cardboard or old beads. Let’s create something special together.
