Whether I am on a train or a flight, I keep my pens ready, turning every travel moment into live, spontaneous art. ## Photos and videos - [Video: Creating a quick sketch of a train journey while on a moving train to Pune. When I work on a train or flight, I rely on quick, continuous-line techniques because the space is small and the environment shifts constantly. This practice means when I step onto your stage, I am already warmed up and ready to create, regardless of the crowd or the setting. Travel has become my secondary studio. While many artists need a perfectly lit room and a stationary easel to create, I have trained myself to find beauty in the movement of a train or the stillness of a flight from Bangalore to Mumbai. This is not just a hobby; it is a discipline that keeps my speed painting sharp. ### Why this matters for your event When you hire a live artist, you need someone who is comfortable with the unexpected. You need a performer who can handle a bustling venue, changing light, or a sudden crowd. By practicing on the go, I have learned to: * **Focus under pressure:** Turbulence or a moving train is the ultimate practice for focus. It ensures that when I do a live speed painting performance at your wedding or corporate event, I do not get distracted by the noise or the people. * **Keep tools simple:** My travel art proves that you do not need expensive, elaborate setups to create something beautiful. I can work with minimal tools, making me highly adaptable to your venue's space constraints. * **Think in lines:** My travel sketches are almost always done in one go without stopping. This style is exactly what I bring to my signature art and speed painting shows—creating bold, final images without the need for erasing or sketching guidelines. Whether it is an Assamese cultural event or a corporate gala, I bring this same mobile, ready-to-act energy. If you have an idea for a live art performance, I can adapt to your space and your schedule. ## About Rabin Bar I'm Rabin. Honestly, I don't go anywhere without my sketchbook and markers. It feels strange to sit idle, so I just start drawing whatever I see, whether I am traveling for a gig or heading back to Assam. I love capturing the moment, and I would be happy to bring that same energy to your next event.
