I look at your dog’s mental wellness first, which means we always start by observing their stress levels and triggers. Whether you are struggling with a puppy who bites or a dog who is reactive on walks, we work on the 'why' behind the behavior so you can finally stop guessing and start communicating. ### My Training Philosophy I believe in training that keeps your dog feeling safe, chill, and eager to learn. My methods are strictly force-free and reward-based. Arey, if your dog is scared, they aren't learning. My approach is built on science, empathy, and the lessons I learned from my own German Shepherd, Spartan. ### How We Work Together We start by looking at your dog as an individual. Every dog has different triggers, a unique drive, and a different way of learning. My job is to help you figure out what motivates them, whether it is food, play, or praise. * **Puppy Foundations:** We focus on focus, crate association, and toilet schedules so your puppy feels secure. * **Real-World Obedience:** We practice the 3Ds—Duration, Distance, and Distraction—so your dog listens to you in the park, not just in the living room. * **Reactivity Management:** I help you map out triggers and work within your dog's threshold so they can walk past other dogs or bikes without lunging. * **Cooperative Care:** I teach you how to handle grooming and vet visits without stress, building trust during nail trims or ear cleaning. ### Why This Approach Matters Many training issues come from a lack of communication or unmanaged anxiety. By implementing pattern games and decompression walks, we reduce your dog's stress hormones. This creates a foundation where they can actually think clearly instead of reacting out of fear or high arousal. If you want a training plan that treats your dog like a family member, let's get started. ## About Spartan K9 Training I'm the person behind the training videos, and I've spent years learning how to communicate with dogs, especially high-drive breeds like my own.
