Honestly, my favorite shots come when I step back, letting you two just be yourselves while I wait for that one genuine smile or a nervous, happy glance. Whether we are in the studio or out at a heritage site, I look for the comfort you have in each other, not the camera. I know the pressure of a big wedding can feel overwhelming. My approach to pre-wedding photography is the opposite of that. I keep sessions relaxed, avoiding stiff poses to focus on conversation and natural movement. Whether we are shooting at my studio in Jayanagar or wandering through Bangalore’s heritage spots, my goal is to capture images that actually feel like you. I shoot with the Canon EOS R5 because it allows me to catch fleeting expressions in low light without needing harsh flashes that kill the mood. For our outdoor sessions, we usually aim for golden hour when the light is soft and flattering. If you are worried about feeling awkward in front of the lens, do not be. I provide enough direction to make you comfortable, but I rely on your natural chemistry to do the heavy lifting. We can keep it minimal with indoor studio portraits or go full-on lifestyle with outfit changes and movement. Whatever we pick, the result is a set of photos that look like a memory, not a production.
