When they guide you through a technique or rule, the advice is based on their recent participation in events like the Ocean Swimathon or State-level championships. This means the training you receive is battle-tested in real field conditions, not just pulled from a textbook. ### Learning from Practitioners At Somaiya Sports Academy, we believe the best mentors are those who have walked the path themselves. Our faculty includes World Athletics certified coaches, NIS Patiala toppers, and professionals who hold international coaching degrees. Because our coaches are actively involved in the competitive circuit, they bring an unparalleled level of practical insight to every session. Whether it is a swimming coach analyzing stroke efficiency after a sea swimathon or a squash instructor refining your grip after a tournament, you are learning from someone who is currently operating at the peak of the sport. ### A Unified Sports Ecosystem Our team is comprised of a diverse group of experts. We have academic researchers leading our University Sports Diploma programs, seasoned physical education teachers managing school-level development, and specialized instructors running our high-performance clinics. This integration ensures that the science of sport—biomechanics, nutrition, and injury prevention—is woven into the foundational training of every athlete, from our youngest beginners to advanced university competitors. ### Coaching Development We do not stop at training athletes. We are deeply committed to elevating the standard of coaching in India. By hosting regular clinics with national experts and managing coach education programs, we ensure that our faculty stays updated with the latest international methodologies and rulebooks. When you join a program at our Vidyavihar campus, you are connecting with a team that is dedicated to constant improvement, both for their own performance and for yours. ## About Somaiya Sports Academy We are a group of sports enthusiasts, from former national athletes to NIS-qualified experts, committed to building a real sports culture. We believe the best way to learn a sport is from someone who has truly played it, which is why our faculty includes active competitors who are as invested in your game as you are.
