We use specialized mounting systems that secure panels above the tiles or concrete, which acts as a protective shield against direct sunlight and rain while ensuring your structural integrity remains untouched. ### Myth: Solar panels require constant maintenance Reality: Solar systems have no moving parts, which naturally reduces wear and tear. While they do need to be clean to operate at maximum efficiency, they do not require daily attention. We recommend a professional cleaning and system audit every few months to ensure debris is cleared and electrical connections remain tight. ### Myth: Solar panels do not work in cloudy or rainy weather Reality: Solar technology relies on light, not heat. Even on overcast days, panels capture diffuse sunlight to generate electricity. Modern high-efficiency modules are designed to function effectively throughout the year, regardless of seasonal weather changes in Delhi. ### Myth: Solar energy is only for sunny summers Reality: Your solar system is an asset for all four seasons. In fact, cooler, sunny days can sometimes boost panel efficiency compared to extreme heat. Our systems include battery storage solutions that allow you to utilize stored energy during the night or during periods when generation is temporarily lower. ### Myth: Solar panels are fragile and prone to damage Reality: The panels we install are encased in toughened glass, engineered to withstand heavy winds, storms, and the typical environmental debris found on rooftops. They are built for a lifespan of 25 years or more, providing a durable and reliable energy source for your home or business. ## About SolarSmiths We are SolarSmiths, a team of engineers based in Delhi who are obsessed with making clean energy simple and reliable.
