In our workshop, we don't just design; we manufacture. Whether it is integrating a piece of brass Marodi art or custom-sizing a teakwood swing, we modify every detail to ensure it fits the specific ergonomics of your life. At Soch Design Studio, we believe that true luxury lies in the process. My philosophy is rooted in 'Soch', or 'thought', ensuring that every interior we shape serves a purpose beyond just visual appeal. ### The Workshop Difference Unlike many firms that act solely as aggregators, we run our own furniture workshop. This allows us to maintain quality control from the first sketch to final installation. We work with materials like bent teakwood, Patagonia marble, and brass, manipulating them to fit your specific floor plan. When we talk about bespoke, we mean creating pieces that don't exist in standard catalogs—like our signature indoor swings or dining tables with custom stone inlays. ### Infusing the Soul of Indianness We actively collaborate with artisans to keep traditional crafts alive. Our work with House of Edwa to bring Marodi, Pichwai, and Repousse art into modern homes is a direct result of this. We don't just place art in a room; we integrate craft into furniture. This approach has led to features in prominent platforms like India Today Home and The Architect’s Diary, confirming that a space can be contemporary while remaining deeply connected to its roots. ### Collaborative Design Every project is a partnership. We begin with a deep dive into your lifestyle needs—be it pet-friendly surfaces, spiritual requirements like a Jain mandir, or ergonomic workspaces. By handling the 2D layouts, 3D views, and on-site construction under one team, we eliminate the common friction points of renovation. If you are looking for a home that holds a story rather than just a design trend, let us walk through the process together. ## About Soch Design Studio I am Romit Savla, the architect behind Soch Design Studio. My team and I build spaces that marry modern ergonomics with the soul of traditional Indian crafts.
