## About Architecture, Interior Design & Build

### What Drives My Design

I’m all about thoughtful design that fits your lifestyle. My work is rooted in process, collaboration, and that special touch of Indianness—mixing traditional crafts with practical, modern design. I believe the space should feel like you. Every project starts with chinta (careful thought), not just about how it looks but how it works for you.

### From Idea to Reality

I take care of the whole journey—concept, planning, design, and build. You get one team for everything, so there’s no confusion. I handle space planning, choose materials, manage construction, and make sure every detail matches what you want. My team even does custom furniture design and lighting in-house, so each piece fits your space perfectly.

### Types of Spaces I Work With

Homes, apartments, or just single rooms—I pay attention to every detail. I do:
- Full home makeovers and apartment interiors, keeping things cohesive for families
- Living rooms that can be grand or super chill
- Bedrooms from zen parent retreats to quirky kid rooms
- Kitchens that are both functional and inviting
- Spa-like bathrooms with unique materials

### Style & Materials

I’m flexible with style. You want luxury residential spaces with marble? Or maybe a Japandi vibe with cane and wood? I’ve done modern minimalist, vintage, and even playful, colorful looks. Materials matter—think bent teakwood, brass, textured paint, and Indian crafts like Marodi. I also keep pet-friendly and spiritual needs in mind, like setting up a Jain mandir with respect.

## Meet your expert

[Soch Design Studio](https://mytribe.in/sochdesignstudio)

### My story

We’re Soch Design Studio, based in Mumbai. ‘Soch’ means ‘thought’ – that’s what drives us. I started this because I got tired of hunting for good furniture, so we built our own workshop and brought in artisans. Now, every chair, every table, it’s got that Indian soul but it’s modern too. We work with our clients, not just for them. If you want a space that’s got story, not just style, that’s what we do.

### My work

- **Architecture, Interiors & Design-Build**: We design spaces across India, from homes to offices, blending contemporary and vernacular styles.
- **Bespoke Furniture & Lighting**: Our 'Objects by Soch' line crafts custom pieces like modern Indian furniture and unique lighting.
- **Functional Art & Craft Integration**: We use materials like Patagonia marble, bent teakwood, and fuse Marodi craft into functional art pieces.
- **Spaces with Personality**: From playful geometric kids rooms to Zen-inspired homes, we shape spaces that spark conversation.
