Whether you are creating a custom tote bag for your daily errands or a hand-painted mug for your morning chai, you will take home something you actually use. I guide you step-by-step, so even if you have never held a brush before, you will leave with a piece you are proud of. I love the idea of functional art. It turns your daily routine into something a little more colourful. In these sessions, we work with different mediums—fabric paints for our cotton tote bags, enamel for ceramic mugs and wine glasses, and even texture pastes if we are feeling fancy. The best part about this category is the use factor. You are not just making something to hang on a wall; you are making something to carry or sip from. Participants often tell me they smile every time they use the mug they painted at one of my sessions. We hold these workshops both at our studio in M3M Urbana, Gurgaon, and at various partner cafes across Delhi, Noida, and Faridabad. Everything you need is provided—the base object, the paints, the brushes, and the guidance. You just need to bring your enthusiasm. If you are planning a group activity, like a casual bachelorette or a birthday catch-up, these functional art sessions are fantastic. They are social, messy in the best way, and genuinely relaxing. No prior art experience is required. I keep the steps simple so you can focus on the music, the chat, and the joy of creating something with your own hands. ## About Soaked in Canvas I am Ciya, and I started Soaked in Canvas because I believe art is for everyone, not just for people who call themselves artists. In these functional art sessions, I will help you paint your own style onto daily essentials, so you can take home a piece of your own creativity.
