Whether it is a sea of riders at India Bike Week or the bass-heavy atmosphere of Locus Bali, my goal is to bridge the gap between technical electronic production and raw, soulful connection. I do not just play music; I craft a soundscape that speaks to the crowd, often while wearing my signature saree to keep my culture front and center on the decks. My journey from watching festivals from the crowd to headlining them has been 17 years in the making. Performing at festivals like Sunburn, NH7 Weekender, and Locus Bali requires more than just mixing tracks; it requires reading the energy of thousands of people and giving them exactly what they need at that moment. ### The Live Performance My festival sets are a hybrid experience. I use Ableton Live to remix and layer tracks on the fly, ensuring no two shows are the same. This technical approach allows me to flip Bollywood classics, Indian classical vocals, or Marathi folk into high-BPM Drum and Bass or BollyTech edits. It is about creating a bridge between the tradition I grew up with and the electronic future I love. ### Why Book Me for Your Festival - **Adaptable Sound:** I understand the pulse of different crowds. From massive campus festivals at institutions like Somaiya College to the high-energy flea markets of Rajkot, I adjust my set to match the venue. - **Technical Precision:** My setup is designed for live improvisation. I bring my controllers, laptop, and soundcard to ensure professional, high-quality audio output. - **Visual Presence:** I perform in traditional attire, which creates a striking visual contrast to the electronic gear, often leaving a lasting impression on the audience. I am deeply grateful for every stage I have stood on. If you are looking for a DJ who brings passion, technical skill, and a deep respect for Indian culture to your festival lineup, I would love to hear from you. Let us create something real. ## About Smokey I have spent 17 years refining my sound, moving from the crowd at festivals to sharing the stage with artists I once admired. I am a DJ and producer who lives for the bass, mixing DnB with Indian classical and Bollywood elements to create something entirely my own. I am always grateful to share my music with a crowd.
