A common mistake is treating the burner in a fire zone instead of the slab color. In the South-East, the burner is not the problem; a black slab is. If your kitchen slab is the wrong color for the zone, it creates an imbalance that can lead to unexpected expenses or cash flow issues. Treating the slab color is a simple fix that creates a major shift without breaking walls or moving your stove. Vastu Shastra is not about superstition or structural demolition. It is a precise spatial science that measures how energy flows through the sixteen directions of your home or office. Often, the problems my clients face, such as financial stagnation or health dips, are not caused by bad luck, but by simple, correctable imbalances in their environment. ### Why Your Decor Might Be Blocking Energy Even beautiful interiors can become obstacles if they are placed in the wrong Vastu zone. For instance, placing a water element in a fire zone or using an anti-color on a wall can disrupt the equilibrium of the space. My approach centers on the Shakti Chakra, a grid that maps your floor plan to identify where these defects exist. By analyzing your home, I can find the root cause of the dosh—be it a misplaced mirror, the wrong furniture color, or a kitchen in the North-East corner. ### Practical, Non-Destructive Remedies My goal is to help you harmonize your space without the need for breaking walls or structural changes. Whether you are living in a rented apartment or your own home, we can often resolve issues using: * **Elemental Balancing:** Adding metal strips, colored tapes, or specific lighting to correct zone energy. * **Color Correction:** Changing decor or slab colors to match the element of that specific direction. * **Object Relocation:** Shifting daily-use items to zones that support their function. Small changes in your environment lead to big impacts in your life. If you feel like your home is working against you rather than for you, it is likely time to audit your space and realign your energy. ## About Smiti Chaturvedi I am Smitii.
