## About Building Renovation & Remodeling

### How I Approach Building Renovation

I’m all about making spaces feel personal. To me, renovation is not just breaking down walls - it’s figuring out what works for your life right now and blending old charm with new ideas. If you want something truly one of a kind, that’s what I enjoy doing the most.

### Facade Transformation & Modern Makeover

The outside of your building gets people talking before they even step inside. I’ll play with materials - Jalli screens, MS sheets, wood, and even green walls. Mixing these up can totally change the vibe. Sometimes, I add clay block screens or vertical fins to control the sunlight and create cool shadow patterns. And I keep things lightweight so the old bones of your building stay safe.

### Interiors: Open, Bright, Functional

Making spaces look bigger is my jam. Double-height rooms, big windows, skylights - these bring in loads of light and help connect inside and outside. For folks who care about it, I build in Vastu-compliant renovations right from the start. Got a small plot? I’ve got tricks like zig-zag room layouts and internal wells to make every inch count.

### Structural Floor Addition & Expansion

If you need to go up, I manage adding new floors even on older buildings. I handle all the structural challenges so it feels like your new space was always meant to be there.

### Visualize Before We Build

I use realistic 3D models and renders so you see exactly what your place will look like - sunlight, materials, everything - before any work begins. From the first sketch to the last brick, I’m there at each step.

## Meet your expert

[Slate Studio](https://mytribe.in/slatestudio.ashok)

### My story

We’re Slate Studio. Some folks think architecture is just plans and bricks, but nah, for us, it’s about vibes. A space needs a soul, not just walls. We love the tough stuff - like squeezing beauty into a tiny 20x30 plot or giving an old house a fresh twist without knocking it down. Minimalism, shadows, a little drama with the details - that’s our jam. At the end, it’s about building something you’ll actually feel proud to call yours.

### My work

- **Full Architecture & Interiors**: We do it all - homes, offices, pubs, factories, and renovations, from scratch to finish.
- **Minimal Contemporary Designs**: We keep it clean and modern, love mixing solid and void, natural light, and materials like jalli and MS sheets.
- **Small Plot Experts**: Tiny site? No problem. We use tricks like double-height ceilings to make even 20x30 plots feel big.
- **Renovation with Respect**: We refresh old homes with a modern look but keep their original charm, avoiding unnecessary demolition.
- **Vastu Friendly**: Need vastu compliance? We blend traditional rules with modern style, so you get both.
