I treat these sketches as a form of meditation, using professional-grade graphite and charcoal to capture the specific energy of the subject. If you are looking for a piece that feels alive, I ensure the shading and depth bring that exact intensity to your wall. ### Why I focus on Devotion For me, drawing a deity is not just about recreating an image; it is about channeling an emotion. When I sketch Maa Durga, I am not just looking at the jewelry or the crown; I am trying to capture the power in her gaze. With 'Shyama Pyari' Radha or Ganpati Bappa, my focus shifts to capturing their serenity and playfulness. These pieces are meant to bring a sense of peace and divine presence into your space. ### My Process I use the grid method for every commission to maintain 100% anatomical accuracy. This is crucial for spiritual portraits where the symmetry of the face and the detail in the eyes define the piece. * **Medium:** I alternate between graphite pencils for fine structure and charcoal for deep, high-contrast shadows. * **Paper Quality:** I use 200+ GSM acid-free paper to ensure the artwork remains crisp and does not yellow over time. * **Finish:** Every sketch is double-coated with a professional-grade matte fixative spray to prevent charcoal smudging and dust shedding during transit. ### Custom Commissions If you have a specific form of a deity or a guru you want sketched, I can work from photos or reference concepts. Each piece is carefully packed in a moisture-resistant, crush-proof art tube to ensure it reaches you safely, whether you are in a metro city or across the country. DM me to discuss how we can bring your vision of devotion to paper. ## About Shivam Yash Main Shivam hoon, and for me, sketching isn't just about lines on paper—it's about capturing a feeling. I pour my heart into drawing deities, focusing on the eyes and the expressions to bring that divine energy into your home. When you commission a piece, I treat it like a personal offering, using the grid method to ensure it looks just as real as the emotion behind it.
