Whether it is our regular potluck gatherings, the Satvic cooking workshops, or our shared meals, we create a genuine 'sangha'—a spiritual family where you can be yourself, shed the ego, and learn through living together rather than just attending a session. When you walk into our centre, you will notice everyone wearing yellow and white. This is not just a uniform; it is a way of removing the 'noise' of daily life and ego. Yellow represents the path of learning, while white signifies purity. By dressing this way, we shift our mindset into a state conducive to study and connection, regardless of whether you are a corporate professional, a student, or a retiree. Our approach to 'Sangha'—or spiritual community—is rooted in the Sivananda tradition. We do not just teach postures; we host satsangs, where we discuss the challenges of modern life, money, and relationships. It is in these moments, often over a cup of tea or a shared meal, that the real learning happens. We are firm believers that the company of like-minded individuals is a necessary support system for any serious practitioner. Whether you are joining our 200-hour Teacher Training in Gurgaon or immersing yourself in our Palampur Gurukula, you are not just signing up for a certification. You are joining a lineage. You will find that our teachers, including Dyutima and myself, are here to provide not just technical correction, but the emotional and spiritual support that keeps your practice going long after the course ends. If you are looking for a place where you are seen and supported, welcome home. ## About Sivananda Yoga Centre I am Arun, and after 30 years of teaching, I have found that yoga is simply the science of coming home to yourself.
