When you step onto this path, you are not just a student in a class, but a part of a living lineage that asks for humility and dedication. You will find that this tradition demands more than physical flexibility; it requires a willingness to live alongside others and embrace the community life that supports deep, spiritual growth. In modern yoga, the term lineage is often lost. Here, we maintain the Guru Parampara, an unbroken chain of transmission that ensures the teachings remain authentic and undiluted. When you join our Yoga Teacher Training Course in Gurgaon, you are not just learning biomechanics or alignment. You are inheriting the wisdom passed down by sages, seers, and masters of the Sivananda system. The process begins with Diksha, the initiation. This ceremony is a conscious act of surrender and transmission. It is where the student acknowledges the teacher not just as an instructor, but as a guide, and the teacher accepts the responsibility of nurturing the student’s spiritual potential. This bond is the foundation of the Gurukula system. Why does this matter? Because yoga is a Sadhana, a spiritual practice. Without the lineage, it easily becomes mere gymnastics. By grounding your practice in this tradition, you learn to balance Karma, Raja, Bhakti, and Jnana—the four paths of yoga. You will navigate the challenges of communal living, learn to resolve conflicts with grace, and understand that your development is inextricably linked to the Sangha, or community, around you. Whether you are aiming for certification or a deeper personal transformation, this connection provides the stability that technique alone cannot offer. ## About Sivananda Yoga Centre I am Arun Pandala.
