Every project here, whether a community pavilion or a modular street cart, starts with listening to the land and the people who use it. We build physical models to test light and movement before we finalize any drawings. If you are looking for design that feels intentional, where every material choice serves a specific purpose, this collection offers a glimpse into how we can translate your vision into a built environment that feels right. Architecture for us is a conversation. This collection of featured work highlights our core ethos: creating spaces that truly belong to their environment. When we worked on the Madam Narangi street carts in Ahmedabad, the challenge was not just to build a unit, but to create a system that dignified informal commerce. We engineered the folding mechanics and modularity so vendors could reclaim public space with ease. Similarly, in Pollachi, the Elephant Pavilion required us to step back and let the land speak. By using rammed earth and timber, we ensured the structure sat low, respecting the elephant corridor rather than dominating it. Our process is hands-on. We spend days in the studio building scale models, testing how shadows fall at noon and how wind moves through a space. This rigor ensures that what we build is practical, sustainable, and climate-responsive. We work with materials that have memory, such as local stone, waste wood, and natural earth, because they age beautifully and carry the stories of the place. Whether you are planning a hospitality retreat, a home, or a public realm intervention, our team is here to translate your specific context into an enduring architectural narrative. We invite you to explore these projects not as finished products, but as ongoing stories of land, material, and community. ## About SIAN Architects We are Surbhi and Deepanshu. At SIAN Architects, we treat every building like a chat between the land, the stone, and the people who live inside. We are not just designing walls; we are carefully stitching stories into the built form.
