We are opening a dialogue about how material experimentation and site-specific planning can redefine modern living. Every award represents a moment where our core philosophy—that a structure should feel like a natural extension of its environment—resonated with others in the field. Architecture is rarely a solo act. It is a collaboration between the environment, the materials, and the inhabitants. Our recent recognitions, from being shortlisted as Young Icons by Architecture + Design to winning at WADE Asia, confirm that the industry is responding to design that prioritizes the 'why' over the 'what'. We often get asked why we obsess over details like stone laying grids or the way sunlight filters through a courtyard. The press features and design accolades we have received serve as a reminder that these minutiae matter. Whether it is the 'Lal Kothi' restoration in Meerut or a modern villa, our goal remains the same: to create spaces that endure. When we present our work, we look for partners who understand that a building is more than just walls. It is a vessel for memory and ritual. Being featured in magazines like Interiors & Decor and Hindustan Times has allowed us to share our narrative-driven process with a wider audience, moving the conversation away from superficial trends and toward long-term, sustainable, and culturally sensitive architecture. We invite you to explore the projects that led to these discussions and see how we might apply this same rigor to your own home. ## About SIAN Architects We are Surbhi and Deepanshu. At SIAN, we view every project as a chat between land, stone, and the people inside. We focus on building homes that feel genuinely lived-in rather than just designed.
