Whether I am passing down the Maihar Gharana tradition in a private masterclass or building a foundation for kids through Sangeet4All, my goal is the same, to share the joy and spiritual depth of ragas. When we connect, we are not just learning notes, we are exploring a lifelong practice. This collection represents the different facets of my life with the Sitar. It is not just about the concerts or the awards, but the daily, quiet moments of riyaz where I find my own voice within the traditional framework of ragas. My teaching philosophy is deeply rooted in the Guru-Shishya Parampara, the sacred lineage passed down by my Guru, Pandit Ravi Shankar. This is why I treat every student interaction as a personal journey. For serious practitioners, my private mentorship at Padmini Enclave is about more than technique. It is about understanding the Gayaki Ang, how to improvise, and how to maintain the discipline required for a life in music. You will need your own professional-grade Sitar, as we focus on advanced repertoire and direct observation of my practice. For families and schools, my work with Sangeet4All is a labour of love. We built this curriculum because I believe every child should have access to the foundations of rhythm and raga, regardless of whether they pursue music professionally. It is a structured, step-by-step approach that removes the intimidation factor often associated with classical arts. Whether I am conducting a workshop in a school in Delhi or collaborating with artists abroad, the aim is to make Indian music accessible and joyous.
