When I judge competitions at places like IIT Delhi or Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, I get to see firsthand where young artists struggle and where they shine. That insight directly shapes how I teach my students at the studio. I do not just teach techniques; I teach you how to think like an artist because I am out there every day engaging with the craft at a professional level. ### Why Your Teacher's Experience Matters When you are looking for an art mentor in Delhi, you want someone who is actively involved in the art community, not just someone reciting theory from a textbook. Being invited to judge at prestigious institutions like IIT Delhi or Shaheed Bhagat Singh College gives me a unique vantage point. I see hundreds of entries, I talk to aspiring artists about their creative blocks, and I see what makes a piece of art truly stand out. ### Bringing Real-World Insight to the Studio I bring this experience back into my studio in Dashrath Puri. Whether you are learning charcoal portraiture or foundational sketching, I teach with the same standard I look for when judging an exhibition. * **Technical Mastery:** I teach you how to handle pressure, manage your time during a sketch, and refine your detail work. * **Constructive Feedback:** You get the same honest, growth-oriented critique that I offer to competition participants. * **Perspective:** We move beyond 'drawing what you see' to understanding the emotion and narrative behind your lines. ### My Journey, Your Growth From the Award of Honour at my old school, Shiksha Niketan in Jammu, to presenting work to legends like Aman Gupta, every moment has been a lesson in dedication. I am not a master who sits on a pedestal; I am a fellow artist who is still learning, still sketching, and still growing. If you are looking for a mentor who is genuinely invested in your progress and knows what it takes to get noticed, I would love to help you start your journey. ## About Shubham Dogra I am Shubham, and I believe art is a conversation between the artist and the canvas. Whether I am sketching for Shark Tank’s Aman Gupta or guiding a student in my studio, I pour the same heart and energy into every single stroke. Let us create something real together.
