For my custom illustrations, I share a rough digital outline for your approval before I add any color, so you are always part of the process. Whether it is a digital portrait or a hand-painted nameplate, I want the final artwork to feel like a reflection of your personality. ### How I Work My creative process is all about blending the personal with the aesthetic. When you reach out for a commission, I take the time to understand the occasion and the vibe you are going for, whether it is a playful nameplate for a kid's room or a formal, story-driven digital wedding invite. **My Creative Range:** * **Digital Illustration:** I work on Procreate to create high-resolution portraits and caricatures. These are perfect for mobile-first sharing like WhatsApp invites or printing as keepsakes. * **Handmade Originals:** I love working with 300 GSM watercolor paper and gallery-wrapped cotton canvas. My handmade pieces often feature a mix of gouache, watercolor, and pen-and-ink detailing. * **The 'Desi' Touch:** I incorporate elements from traditional Indian art forms like Gond and Lippan styles to give modern themes a unique, rooted look. ### Customization and Process I believe art should be collaborative. For digital portraits, I provide a rough sketch first to ensure the composition is right before I move to final coloring. For physical artwork, I use quality materials that stand the test of time, including varnish protection for canvases and acid-free mounting for paper paintings. If you have a specific color palette in mind to match your room interiors, let me know, and I can tailor my strokes to fit your home. ## About Shrub The Art Studio I’m Shruthi, a mom and artist juggling life and colors.
