We bring everything needed, including the water-filled bowls and floor mats for a traditional, comfortable seating arrangement. These camps are specifically designed so you and your child sit side by side, making it a shared discovery rather than just another class. It is a wonderful way to see your little one engage with music while you rediscover your own inner musician. The Jaltarang is one of the most magical instruments you can introduce to your child. Literally meaning 'waves of water,' it creates sounds that are gentle, resonant, and incredibly soothing to hear. Unlike a piano or guitar, the Jaltarang requires a sense of touch and patience that naturally slows everyone down—a welcome change from the fast pace of modern life. ### Why join our camp? When your child plays, they aren't just learning notes; they are understanding physics, rhythm, and the beauty of Indian Shastriya Sangeet in a way that feels like play. During our sessions, we focus on: * **Rhythm (Tala):** Clapping and playing together to build coordination. * **Listening (Swaras):** Learning to identify notes through the unique sound of the bowls. * **Connection:** Strengthening your bond with your child as you both try to master the technique together. ### Practical Details Whether you are in Basavanagudi, Indiranagar, or anywhere in Bengaluru, we bring the workshop to your preferred community space. We handle all logistics, from setting up the mats to ensuring the water levels are perfect for the best sound. It is a fantastic option for families who want to break away from screens and create something beautiful together. You do not need prior musical knowledge—just a curiosity to learn and laugh. By the end of our camp, you and your child will have a shared memory and a new musical language that belongs only to you. ## About ShrotaHouse At ShrotaHouse, we believe music is a feeling that belongs in every home.
