Whether it is arranging the Jhulan for Teej or the Haldi setup for the divine marriage, my goal is to create a setting that helps you and your guests feel the devotion rather than just see the decorations. When I set up for a ritual like the Byahula Utsav or a Kangana ceremony, I know the details matter. It is not just about placing a backdrop; it is about respecting the tradition behind the event. ### My Approach to Ritual Decor I believe in keeping the decor traditional and grounded. Here is what I focus on for these Utsavs: * **Ritual-Specific Elements:** For Teej Jhulan, I ensure the swing is the centerpiece, adorned with flowers that complement the season. For Haldi and Byahula ceremonies, I use bright, traditional fabrics that reflect the vibrancy of the rituals. * **Authenticity:** I avoid overly modern or flashy additions that might clash with the spiritual atmosphere of a Sunderkand or a devotional gathering. * **Small-Space Management:** Many of these events take place in home puja rooms or intimate living spaces. I am experienced in working with limited square footage to create a ‘darbar’ feel without crowding your home. ### Why Tradition Matters For many of my clients in Delhi, finding someone who understands the flow of a ritual is the biggest challenge. You need someone who knows when to place the brass props, how to drape the backdrop so it stays secure, and where to position the lighting so it enhances the idols rather than creating harsh shadows. I handle the setup from start to finish, ensuring that when the guests arrive for the satsang or the ustav, everything is ready. If you have a specific family tradition or a unique way you celebrate these festivals, let me know. I am always happy to customize the setup to match your vision. ## About Shriji Events and Decor by Kiran I am Kiran, and for me, planning these Utsavs is not just business—it is my way of doing seva.
