I do not use generic setups. I calibrate my lighting, whether it is a 3-point Profoto rig or a specific macro lens setup, to ensure skin texture and product pigment remain crisp. We shoot tethered, so you see exactly what I see in real-time, giving us total control over the catchlight and color accuracy before we even start the final cull. My beauty and cosmetic work is about absolute precision. Whether it is a lipstick campaign or a skin-care editorial, the light needs to be aware of the product. Aise hi nahi chalta (it does not just work like that). Every shoot starts with a conversation about the skin finish and the exact mood we are chasing. When I am on set, the gear is secondary to the direction. My team and I focus on the small details, like stray hair, skin texture, and makeup application. Because I handle all the high-end commercial retouching myself, I know exactly what I need to capture to make the post-production work clean. No over-processed, plastic skin here. Just real, high-impact imagery. I work with brands to deliver files that are print-ready and web-optimized.
