## About Indian Classical & Semiclassical Dance

### Why I Teach Dance

I’ve seen people with a *shauk* (passion) for dance who hold back, thinking, '*mujhse nahi hoga*' (I can't do it). But trust me, *dance seekhne ki koi umar nahi hoti hai* (there’s no age for learning dance). For me, dance is more than steps – it’s a feeling. I want you to connect with that feeling, not just memorize moves.

### How My Classes Work

I keep things simple and step-by-step. We break down movements *baareeki se* (in detail) and I always say, *aaram se karo* (take it easy). No rush. We focus on:
- Basic postures
- Mudras (hand gestures)
- Tatkar (footwork)
- Chakkar (spins)
- Bhav (expressions)

### What You’ll Learn

I teach:
- **Kathak Lucknow gharana training** and Raigarh styles, from basics to advanced.
- **Bharatnatyam Kalamandalam classes** for all ages.
- **Semiclassical dance for adults** and kids, mixing classical techniques with modern music.

### Who Can Join

Age doesn’t matter. I run batches for:
- Kids (4+, 6+, 8+)
- Adults, including ladies 54 to 70

### Flexible Learning Options

- Mostly online Indian dance classes (Zoom/Google Meet), with students from all over
- Offline classes in Greater Noida, Noida Extension, and Patna
- Group or private lessons available

### Formal Training & Certification

For those serious about dance, I help with certification prep for BIR Tikendrajit University, Prayag Sangeet Samiti, and Prachin Kala Kendra.

### My Team

I’m a Kathak dancer (Master’s degree) and my team of certified instructors brings a mix of styles and teaching approaches, so you get a full experience.

## Meet your expert

### My story

Namaskar! We’re Shree Riyaaz Dance Academy. You know, so many students tell us, "Mam, mujhe dance ka bahut shauk tha, lekin kuch situation aisi thi ki main seekh nahi payi" (I loved dance but never got the chance). That’s why we started online classes - so anyone can join, anytime. Age doesn’t matter here. Dance is feeling, emotion, not just steps. Guru bina gyaan nahi, Guru bina sammaan nahi (No knowledge or respect without a teacher) - we try to be that for you.

### My work

- **Dance & Music Classes**: We teach online and offline classes - Kathak, Semiclassical dance lessons, Bollywood, Zumba, Bharatnatyam, Bhangra, plus vocal music, piano, guitar, flute.
- **For All Age Groups**: Kids from 4 years, ladies dance batch, beginners or experienced - everyone can join.
- **How Classes Work**: Every step taught bilkul baareeki se (with detail) - footwork, spins, expressions. Group or private, thrice a week.
- **Online & Offline Options**: Mostly online Kathak classes, but offline batches also in Greater Noida for kids and adults.
- **Certificate Course**: Serious about Kathak? We offer Prayag Sangeet Samiti certificate courses too.
