I focus on the details that make the memory real—the light in an eye, the texture of clothing, or the specific atmosphere of a location. I use 300 GSM archival paper and professional-grade pigments to ensure your artwork doesn't just look good today, but lasts for years. Every piece is carefully packed in moisture-resistant tubes and shipped securely across India, ensuring it arrives exactly as I painted it in my studio. ### Why I focus on Originality Art should be a reflection of a real connection, not just a business transaction. In a world where digital filters and mass-produced prints are common, I focus on the 'asli wala' (real) art. Whether it is a hyper-realistic graphite portrait or a loose, expressive watercolor landscape, my goal is to give you something that captures the spirit of the subject. ### My Process When we work together, it starts with your memory. You share the reference photos and the story behind them. - **For Pencil Portraits:** I use charcoal and graphite on 200 GSM acid-free paper, focusing on high-contrast shading and fine details like skin pores or fabric folds. - **For Watercolors:** I utilize archival ink liners and artist-grade pigments on 300 GSM cotton paper, allowing for vibrant washes and atmospheric depth. I believe in transparency. I share work-in-progress updates so you know how your piece is taking shape. Every painting is hand-signed, protected with butter paper, and shipped in crush-proof cylinders. If you have an idea for a custom pencil sketch or a watercolor painting of a special place, reach out. Let’s talk about how we can turn your reference into a piece of art that actually means something. ## About Shashank Shukla I'm Shashank, and for me, art is about capturing the emotions that a camera just can't reach.
