This ensures that when I weave in heavy mirror-work, gota patti, or pearl accessories, the style does not sag or lose its shape, no matter how long the ceremony lasts. Braids are often the most requested style for Mehendi and Sangeet functions, and for good reason—they offer a perfect canvas for accessories. My approach to intricate braiding goes beyond simple styling. I focus heavily on sectioning and tension, which allows me to incorporate elements like gota patti, fresh flowers, or heavy jewelry without pulling on the scalp. For ponytails, the goal is often high-fashion sleekness. This requires precise blow-drying and smoothing techniques to control flyaways while maintaining natural movement. Whether you are looking for a dramatic, floor-length braid adorned with pearls or a high, chic ponytail for a reception party, the technique remains the same: build volume first, accessorize second.
