This isn't a formal commission; it is a spontaneous gift meant to bring a smile to someone having a hard day, and I carry my drawing kit with me wherever I go. This journey began as a humble attempt to share the love I have for my roots. When I am riding through Bengaluru or visiting other parts of Karnataka, I often meet people who work incredibly hard—from street vendors to hotel staff—and I feel a deep urge to celebrate them. I sit with my sketchbook and pencils, capturing their expressions in minutes. It is not just about the drawing; it is about acknowledging their struggle and their diamond of a smile. These moments remind me that Kayakave Kailasa (work is worship) is real. If you have seen one of my reels and want to know how I work, or if you are looking to commission a similar realistic pencil or charcoal portrait of your own loved ones, I offer the same level of dedication. Every commission, whether a standard portrait or a special tribute, follows the same philosophy: honest art, created with love. I use professional 180 GSM acid-free paper and archival-quality materials, ensuring every smile I capture lasts a lifetime. I am available for bookings throughout Bengaluru and can ship completed portraits anywhere in India. ## About Shivakumar Kandikere Namaskara, I am Shivakumar, but you can call me SK. I am an artist who believes that art should be for everyone, not just those who can afford it. Whether I am surprising a stranger on the street with a quick sketch or working on a detailed portrait for you, my goal is simple: to share the happiness I find in every stroke.
