I don't use preservatives or bulk-manufactured bases, so when you order the strawberry taco cakes, they are assembled fresh right before leaving my kitchen to ensure the sponge is perfectly moist and the fruit is crisp. Baking is my way of connecting, and sometimes a whole cake isn't what a celebration calls for. Whether you are putting together a dessert table or just want a little treat for the weekend, these items are designed to be enjoyed immediately. ### The Strawberry Taco Cake This is my personal take on dessert fusion. I take a soft, taco-shaped sponge and fill it with fresh whipped cream and hand-cut strawberries. It’s light, vibrant, and designed for people who love the combination of fresh fruit and cake without the heaviness of a full-sized dessert. ### Traditional & Modern Mix My bakehouse menu balances modern trends with the flavours I grew up with. You will find: * **Classic Nankhatai:** A nod to tradition, these are crumbly, buttery, and authentic, perfect for chai time or gifting. * **Gourmet Cupcakes:** I keep the frosting balanced—never too sugary, always focusing on the sponge flavour. * **Chocolate Truffles:** Using the same 54-70% dark chocolate I use in my tortes, these are intense and rich. ### Freshly Made in Gurugram Because I bake out of a small kitchen, I don't keep inventory. Everything you order is baked to order. This means I can adjust sweetness levels or make small substitutions if you have a preference. If you're planning a party or need a curated box of treats, let me know in advance so I can source the freshest seasonal produce. ## About Shireen's Bake House I’m Meraaj. I left my corporate job to build Shireen's Bakehouse because I believe desserts should be honest and flavour-first. These bite-sized treats are where I get to experiment with my favourite recipes, making sure every single one is packed with the same care as my full-sized cakes.
