We focus on getting the little things right, from the slow-cooked Dal Shikhara to the perfect heat in our kebabs, so you can focus on the conversation. Our GK 1 space is designed for people who appreciate the craft behind their meal. We do not believe in shortcuts or mass-produced cooking; every dish on our menu is prepared with the same attention to detail as if we were cooking for our own family. When you visit, expect the classics executed with honesty. Our signature Dal Shikhara is slow-cooked for hours to get that rich, creamy texture without needing any artificial thickeners. If you are a fan of meat, our Tandoori Chicken and Mutton Burrah are marinated with spices ground in-house, then grilled until they are juicy and charred just right. We take our ingredient sourcing seriously. Whether it is using A2 cow ghee for our curries or sourcing premium prawns, we prefer high-quality ingredients over convenience. The dining room itself is quiet and comfortable, far removed from the loud, crowded banquet halls you might find elsewhere. It is a space where the food is the focus. Whether you are planning a date, a family dinner, or just craving a solid Mughlai meal in a clean, safe environment, we are ready to serve you. We recommend calling ahead for weekend reservations to ensure you get your preferred table. ## About Shikhara At Shikhara, we believe that great Mughlai food should be accessible and enjoyable. We created this space in GK 1 so you can step away from the daily rush and actually savour your meal, whether that is a rich curry or a freshly grilled kebab.
