Over the course of three intensive days, you will be trained by WKF-certified instructors, completing both theory exams and practical judging drills to ensure you fully understand the latest competition rules. This is your only path to being a recognized KIO referee for our sanctioned tournaments. To build a career as a referee in India, you need to align your skills with global benchmarks. Our referee and judge certification program is designed specifically to maintain the integrity of Karate in Bharat by adhering strictly to World Karate Federation (WKF) and Asian Karate Federation (AKF) rules. ### The KIO Certification Advantage By joining this pathway, you gain more than a title. You become part of the largest network of qualified officials in the country. We regularly host technical seminars in major cities, where participants engage in: * **WKF Rule Mastery:** In-depth study of the latest competition regulations. * **Practical Judging Drills:** Hands-on training on how to handle kumite and kata scenarios under pressure. * **Official Licensing:** Upon passing, you receive the KIO national referee or judge license, valid for all our official state and national championships. ### Who Should Enroll? This course is essential for instructors managing state-level teams, dojo owners, and karateka who want to shift their focus from competing to officiating. Because we work directly with global federation leaders to nominate top referees for these courses, you are learning from the very people who judge international matches. The certification process includes the official federation kit, such as the KIO tie and blazer patch, marking you as a verified official in our national database. ## About Bharat Sharma I am Bharat Sharma, and my mission is to see Indian officials judging on the world stage.
