When you compete here, every victory is recorded in the official KIO database, ensuring your progress counts toward your career rankings rather than just being a local accolade. ### Why Compete in KIO Championships? In the current landscape of Indian sports, not all karate events are created equal. My goal with the Karate India Organisation is to establish a rigorous, transparent competition structure that mirrors what you would encounter on the international stage. **Official Recognition & Rankings** When your students compete in KIO-sanctioned events—whether it is a state-level championship in Jharkhand or a national selection trial in Delhi—they are participating in the only pathway recognized by the World Karate Federation (WKF) and the Indian Olympic community. Participation here is a prerequisite for being considered for national camps and international delegations. **World-Class Technical Standards** We do not compromise on officiating. Every championship is governed by WKF-certified referees. This ensures that the judging is consistent with global standards, which is critical for athletes who aspire to represent Bharat at the Asian or World Championships. **What to Expect at Our Events** - **Strict Age & Weight Categories:** We follow official norms to ensure fair play for sub-junior, cadet, and junior athletes. - **Professional Venue Management:** We host events in venues that meet sporting requirements, with dedicated warm-up areas and official mats. - **Transparent Progression:** Results are logged into the KIO national database, providing a verifiable record of every athlete's performance history. Whether you are a dojo owner looking to field a team or an athlete aiming for the podium, these championships are where your dedication meets the official path to glory. Jai Hind. ## About Bharat Sharma I founded the KIO to ensure Indian karatekas have a fair, recognized path to global success, free from the confusion of unrecognized events. My duty is to be present at these championships, observing talent and ensuring our national standards are upheld from Ranchi to Delhi.
