When you join the Karate India Organisation, you are stepping into a system recognized by the World Karate Federation and the Indian government, ensuring your dojo's hard work officially counts toward national rankings and Dan grades. My vision for Indian karate is rooted in a single, unwavering principle: standardizing our sport to match global benchmarks. We are moving beyond local, fragmented training to a unified national structure. Whether you operate a district-level dojo or lead a state sports unit, my office ensures you have direct access to the official WKF (World Karate Federation) pathway. ### Why Official Affiliation Matters - **Global Recognition:** KIO is the only IOC-recognized route for karate in India. Without this, your athletes cannot compete in official international championships. - **Government Support:** I am in constant dialogue with Union Ministers and national sports bodies to ensure our athletes receive the institutional backing they deserve. - **Technical Standards:** By following our sanctioned national events and camps, you align your students with the latest WKF judging and technical rules. We are building an ecosystem where meritocracy wins. From organizing national camps in places like Pune to briefing Union Ministers on our athletes' progress, my team and I are here to remove the barriers that have historically held our players back. If you are serious about representing Bharat, this is the only road that matters. ## About Bharat Sharma I am Bharat Sharma, and my life is dedicated to the sport of Karate in Bharat.
