It is about understanding the trade-offs between a college’s brand name and the specific branch you want. At Shelar Academy, we map your JEE or MHT-CET score against historic trends to build a preference list that maximizes your actual seat probability, not just your aspirations. Most engineering aspirants fixate on the exam score and forget that the admission process is a different battle altogether. Whether it is JEE Main, Advanced, or MHT-CET, the real work starts after the results are declared. Students often lose out on better seats simply because their college preference list was poorly structured or lacked strategy. We break down the process into actionable steps: * **Score Evaluation:** We analyze your actual rank against historic cutoffs. This tells us what is realistic versus what is ambitious for your specific score. * **Preference List Construction:** This is where most students make errors. We organize your choices for CAP rounds or JoSAA to ensure you do not miss a seat you are qualified for due to poor form-filling. * **Trade-off Advice:** It is a common dilemma. Do you pick a top-tier college for a less preferred branch, or a mid-tier college for Computer Science? We help you weigh these decisions based on your actual career goals, not just prestige. * **Spot Rounds & Backup Plans:** Not everyone gets their dream seat in the first round. We provide strategies for institutional rounds, vacant seats, and viable alternatives like Pharmacy or B.Sc if your primary targets remain out of reach. Our goal is to remove the stress of technical form-filling and anxiety-inducing waiting lists. You focus on your final preparation or a well-deserved break, and we ensure the technical, administrative side of your admission is handled with precision. ## About Shelar Academy I'm Prof. Mangesh Shelar, and I believe every student deserves a seat in a good engineering college, not just the top rankers.
