In Mumbai, we often train with recordings, but here in Seville, you learn to listen, respond, and find your *compas* (rhythm) alongside a live musician. It changes your entire approach to movement, musicality, and how you feel the music in your body. ### Training in the Mecca of Flamenco This isn't a vacation where you watch from the sidelines. This is a deep dive into the *baile* (dance) culture of Seville. Over 14 nights, we base ourselves in the city's heart—often near the Triana district—and treat the *corralones* (traditional studios) as our home. #### What the Immersion Covers: * **Masterclasses:** You will train with renowned Spanish maestros who focus on technique, expression, and the subtle movements that separate a student from an artist. * **Cante & Compas:** We dedicate specific sessions to *cante* (singing) and *compas* (rhythm). Understanding the interplay between the singer and the dancer is essential; without this, you're just following steps, not dancing flamenco. * **Live Performance:** You aren't just learning; you are living the life. This includes tickets to professional *tablaos* (flamenco venues) and group gatherings where we discuss the history and soul of what we witnessed. #### Why This Matters When you return to India, you will carry the rhythm of Seville with you. This program is for dancers who are ready to stop treating flamenco as a weekend class and start seeing it as a way of life. We support you through every logistical hurdle, from studio bookings to translations, so you can focus entirely on your growth. You arrive as a student, but you leave with a much deeper, more personal connection to the art. If you have been waiting for a sign to stop overthinking and start dancing with the greats, this is it. ## About Shehzeen Cassum I’m Shehzeen, and for me, Seville isn't just a destination—it’s where my heart beats.
