We keep our groups intimate to ensure you train with local maestros in authentic Seville studios, receiving the kind of technical mentorship that fundamentally changes your dance practice. ### Your Flamenco Pilgrimage to Seville I treat my tours as a proper immersion into the art form. We spend 14 nights in Seville, the true heart of Flamenco. This isn't about watching from the sidelines. You will train in authentic *corralones* (traditional studios), focusing on *cante* (singing), *compas* (rhythm), and the essential interplay between dancer and guitarist. We dive into the culture, watch live performances at local *tablaos*, and share stories over tapas. This tour is for those who feel the pull of the art and want to grow alongside a supportive community. ### Bringing the Spirit of Spain to India I understand that not everyone can make it to Spain every year. That is why I create choreography courses in Mumbai that are directly inspired by the masters I work with in Andalusia. These courses bring the specific *palos* and nuances I learn abroad directly to our studio in Bandra. It is my way of keeping the connection alive and ensuring that our SCFA *familia* stays connected to the source material. ### Professional Performances Beyond teaching, I am an active performer. My schedule involves collaborations with incredible artists in Seville and beyond. Keep an eye on this space for updates on upcoming shows, where I perform with international *cuadros*. If you happen to be in Seville during my touring dates, I would love to see you in the audience. ### What to Expect * **Authentic Training:** Masterclasses with renowned local Spanish Maestros. * **Musicality:** Sessions include a live Flamenco guitarist to teach you how to hear and respond to the music. * **Support:** I act as your guide, mentor, and translator throughout the trip, handling the logistics so you can focus entirely on your dance. *Vamos a bailar!* ## About Shehzeen Cassum I live between the rhythms of Mumbai and the streets of Seville. My mission is to demystify Flamenco, turning complex beats into a language you can speak with your body, whether we are in a studio in Bandra or a tablao in Spain.
