In our studio sessions, I strip back the performance pressure to focus on the essential technique, posture, and hands (manos) that you need to truly express yourself. It is not just about learning a routine; it is about understanding the code so you can eventually dance freely. ### Finding Your Flamenco Rhythm Learning Flamenco is a commitment, but it is one that pays off with incredible confidence. My classes are designed to be safe spaces where you can explore the art form without judgment. We break down the 'palos' (styles) like Sevillanas, Bulerías, and Farruca into manageable parts. ### What We Focus On - **Technique Foundations:** We dedicate time to the pillars of the dance: Zapateado (footwork) for power, and brazos (arms) for grace. My technical approach ensures you learn to move sustainably, protecting your joints so you can dance for years. - **Virtual & In-Studio:** Whether you are joining my live Zoom sessions from your living room or stepping into our premium studios in Khar and Bandra, the curriculum remains rigorous. You get weekly recaps and personal feedback, ensuring you never feel lost. - **The Community:** When you sign up for a 4-week choreography module or an intensive boot camp, you are joining the SCFA familia. We go beyond the dance. We host film nights, secret gatherings, and community events that keep the spirit of Spain alive right here in Mumbai. ### Is it for you? You do not need prior experience, special shoes, or a specific body type. If you have the desire to dance, that is enough. I work with everyone from absolute beginners starting from zero to serious dancers wanting to join our performance team. If you are unsure where to start, reach out. We will figure out the right path for you together. ## About Shehzeen Cassum I’m Shehzeen, and for me, Flamenco isn't a hobby—it's home.
